Sample preparation request

The IBIS Microscopy Platform offers sample preparation services for both optical and electron microscopy, as well as assistance with microscope operation. To view all our services, please consult our rates.

1. Review our services on the rates page.
2. Contact us to confirm that the selected preparation method meets your specific needs.
3. Fill out the form, including the project number and the signature of the project supervisor.
4. Include any specific details regarding your protocol or desired cutting orientations, for example.
5. Clearly and simply label all samples, and complete the identification page on the form. We will use this as a legend to reference sample details.
6. If your samples contain hazardous materials, such as fixatives or flammable solvents, please specify which ones on the form.
7. We do not accept BSL2 or higher infectious materials. To submit such samples, you must fix them in your own laboratory before sending them to us.
8. Pack your samples using triple packaging: tube, airtight bag with absorbent paper sufficient for the total volume of liquid, and a second airtight bag.
9. Label your package with your name, print the form, and enclose it.
